What is JetTrack?
JetTrack is an application that harnesses difficult to find public information on corporate aircraft activity in order to alert clients about potential mergers & acquisitions.
What is the delivery mechanism?
JetTrack is web-based and best rendered on a laptop or desktop computer. A mobile application will be developed later. Notifications are distributed via email and text message.
An API to the data is also aviliable.
How are the number of companies tracked?
The number of companies tracked is counted on the Firm level. Once a user at the Firm tracks a company, another user would be able to track that same company for no extra cost.
For example, assume that Firm “A” has two users on JetTrack. User 1 tracks Apple, and Tesla, while User 2 tracks Apple and IBM. In this case, the total number of companies tracked by the Firm would be 3.
How are users assigned to client firms?
Users are assigned to firms by JetTrack management based on the request of the clients.
How are users authenticated?
The registration uses a two factor authentication process, employing email and cell phone.
Once registered, every new login requires users to enter a new security code sent to their cell phone.
WHERE DOES JETTRACK FIND ITS DATA?
This information upon which JetTrack is based is found in disparate systems and within the public domain. JetTrack leverages relationships with many data vendors and then integrates the information into an easy-to-use application for clients or a data API depending on client needs.
DO CLIENTS USING JETTRACK RUN THE RISK OF INSIDER TRADING?
All of the data from JetTrack is found in the public domain. As in any situation, however, your counsel should be consulted for any outstanding legal questions pertaining to your Firm’s protection.
DOES JETTRACK AUTOMATICALLY LOG out INACTIVE USERS?
Yes. If the user is inactive for more than 24 hours, the application will log them out when attempting to take their next action.
WHAT HAPPENS TO USER DATA?
All user information remains confidential and will not be sold to any third parties.
IS THE COST FOR JETTRACK ABLE TO BE SOFTDOLLARED?
JetTrack is an application built and designed specifically for researching companies for investment purposes. While we believe that the expense for this is soft-dollerable, we encourage you to discuss this matter with your counsel.
